About Solvatten

Solvatten is a social enterprise that has developed, produces, and distributes a solar-powered water purification solution. Today, more than 700,000 people in 40 countries benefit from our technology. We work in partnership with governments, businesses, and organizations to make a difference, especially for those affected by climate change or who lack access to clean water. Our projects, particularly in East Africa, help reduce the need to burn coal and wood for water purification and heating, thus contributing to the climate. We are now looking for you to build team and provide training for our partners in the field.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an International Project Manager, you will:

Steer, lead, coordinate, and monitor various project components.

Serve as the primary contact with Solvatten’s partner organizations in different project countries.

Ensure all parts work harmoniously together and nothing is overlooked.

Take overall responsibility for projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline goals.

Actively maintain, develop, and create customer relationships.

Lead investigations, planning, and detailed project design.

Your role is vital to Solvatten’s daily operations and requires precision, attention to detail, customer care, and relationship-building.

The position includes travel to projects once a year.


Skills and Qualifications

Have an academic degree in environment, sustainability, international relations, social sciences, or equivalent.

Have documented experience in project management, budget responsibility, and project reporting.

Have experience working on international projects in English.

Are comfortable communicating at various organizational levels with different stakeholders.

Can express yourself very well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

Are self-reliant, relationship-building, meticulous, and flexible.

Bonus Skills:

Specialized knowledge in water/hygiene and health, humanitarian aid, sustainability issues, or climate and energy issues.

Conditions

Workplace: Solvatten’s office on Roslagsgatan, Stockholm.

Scope: Full-time position. Six-month probationary period, then permanent employment.

Compensation: Salary as per agreement, wellness allowance.

Start Date: Immediately, considering notice period.
