First step
The first step is the manufacturing of the Solvatten Kit, which takes place at our producer in southern Sweden. During the manufacturing process, each Solvatten unit receives a unique ID. Once production is complete, transportation is carried out via container ship to Mombasa, Kenya. After import and customs clearance, the Solvatten Kits are then transported to the project site. There, the implementing aid organization receives the delivery. The total climate footprint for the entire chain of manufacturing, transportation, and production is approximately 18 kg tCO2e (according to LCA analysis).
