Solvatten improves health and is most beneficial during the early years of life. Therefore, priority is given to households led by mothers who are pregnant, mothers with infants, and/or households with children under five years old. The project follows a methodology approved by the Gold Standard and supported by local aid organizations that we collaborate with. After new users have been registered and received WASH training (water, sanitation, and hygiene) and training on the use of Solvatten, they return home. From that day on, life becomes significantly easier. With knowledge about water and hygiene, along with a Solvatten unit, the family is better equipped and prepared for climate change and the future.
