Office assistant for Solvatten charitable foundation

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. We are looking for a person with experience in 90-account. You will develop the Solvatten Charitable Foundation’s work and administration. As a person, you are driven and independent with non-profit work experience. We are looking for a person who is familiar with the rules around 90-account and reporting for non-profit organizations. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ongoing expenses and compiling/updating financial results in Visma.
  • Ensure that 90-account regulations are followed.
  • Updating the list of donors.
  • Assist the operations manager in carrying out certain fundraising activities.
  • Be helpful to the Board, auditor, and operations manager with monthly documentation and reports. The Board meets once a quarter.
  • Ensure that the website is up to date according to the rules for 90-account.
  • Regularly update certain features of our donor service (e.g., automated thank you).
  • Monitor current announcements from other foundations.

 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Eight hours a week.

 

Experience and personal qualities

As a person, you are responsive, unpretentious, diplomatic, and communicative. You have a good sense of structure and organization. You have an academic degree or equivalent education with sound economics and organizational administration knowledge. The work is mainly computer-based, so you need to master the most common software in Microsoft Office 365 and Visma. We are happy to see that you have a mind for effective marketing to make Solvatten and our projects even more visible and engaging.

Solvatten Fundraising Foundation aims to make a long-term, sustainable solution available for people, mainly women and children who do not have access to water. The fundraising foundation must also prevent activities and solutions whose positive environmental impact and climate benefit can be demonstrated. The foundation is non-profit and is under the supervision of the County Administrative Board in Stockholm.

 

The work is from the office at Roslagsgatan 56, Stockholm, and remotely.
