2025 has been an intense year for Solvatten. New projects, follow up in the field and planning for next steps have filled our days, all guided by the same direction: for more people to live healthy and dignified lives with access to clean and hot water at home.

In Solvatten End of Year report you can see what you have helped make possible:
how many Solvatten kits have been distributed, how many people now use them in their everyday life, and what that means in terms of safe water, reduced emissions and time saved for families.

The report also highlights stories from Uganda, Kenya, Zambia and other places where Solvatten is used, showing how one unit can free up time, reduce sickness and open up new opportunities for families who already juggle children, work, food, care and worries about the future.

We would love your feedback

This is the first time we publish this format of the End of Year report. Now we would really like to know: how can we make our communication even better next year?

We want to share the strength and joy that lives inside every person. We want to show everyday lives that are very different from our own, but where we still meet in what is most familiar: children, family, food, work, friendship, sport, grief when someone is lost, and all the small decisions when time and resources no longer stretch.

It would help us a lot if you could share your thoughts:

• Would you like to see more deep dives into individual life stories and how Solvatten changes daily life for a family?

• Are you more interested in the contributing companies and how their engagement with Solvatten is set up?

• Would you like us to show more of how our partnerships with NGOs actually work in practice, including the choices and trade offs along the way?

• Or would you prefer that we more often comment on what is happening in the world right now: aid, human rights, climate, war, security, AI and how all of this connects to access to safe, hot water?

Looking ahead

Next year we want to open up even more space for voices directly from the field. With the help of our new WhatsApp initiative we hope to share more Photo Stories and testimonies from families living through a time of change, sharing small time documents. Moments from people who are trying to live, cope and takes care of each other.
