Which type of partnership suits our company?
A corporate gift suits companies that want to easily contribute to concrete social and environmental benefits. Companies that require verified emission reductions can choose a certified climate action. A larger project partnership can be designed around a country, a target group, or a sustainability area. The company can also engage employees and customers through Water’n’Wood Walks. Several forms can be combined into a joint arrangement.
What is the difference between a corporate gift and a certified climate action?
A corporate gift supports the Solvatten Foundation’s work for safe and hot water but does not automatically give the company the right to report a specific amount of emission reductions. A certified climate action includes verified climate benefits expressed in tons of CO2 equivalents and specific documentation. The corporate gift is suitable for simpler social or CSR engagement, while the climate action is suitable for companies with specific climate reporting requirements.
Can Companies Receive a Tax Reduction for a Donation to Solvatten?

Yes. Since 2026, legal entities that pay Swedish national income tax can receive a tax reduction for monetary gifts to approved recipients. The Solvatten Foundation is approved by the Swedish Tax Agency. Each gift must amount to at least 2,000 SEK. The tax reduction corresponds to 20.6 percent of a total gift base of a maximum of 800,000 SEK per calendar year. The company must have sufficient national income tax to offset the reduction against.

How is the partnership followed up, and what can the company communicate?

Follow-up is adapted to the scope of the partnership and can include deliveries, local distribution, usage, results, photos, and stories from families and local partners. The company may communicate the support it has provided and the documented benefits it contributes to. Claims about specific emission reductions should only be used when the company has funded a certified climate action and received relevant documentation.

How does a corporate partnership work in practice?
A corporate gift can be made directly via the donation page. A larger partnership begins with a conversation about the company’s goals, budget, target group, and desired results. Subsequently, Solvatten proposes a suitable arrangement, such as a project partnership, a climate action, or an activity for employees. Depending on the arrangement, the partnership can include production, transport, local distribution, training, follow-up, and communication materials.
