This support helps families and health clinics gain access to safe and warm water using solar energy. It combines social sustainability with issues such as health, gender equality, climate, and poverty reduction – and allows the company to demonstrate the actual impact of its commitment.

The support helps families, maternal care, and health clinics gain access to clean, warm water. A Solvatten unit can provide approximately 6,000 liters per year and be used for many years. This can improve hygiene, reduce household expenses for firewood and coal, and save time. Reduced wood burning also means less smoke and lower emissions.

A company can make a one-time donation, become a monthly donor, or enter into a longer partnership around a project, target group, or geographical location. Larger collaborations can be designed based on the company’s sustainability goals and desired level of engagement. Solvatten helps companies find a level and format that matches both ambition and budget.

The company receives feedback on what its support has contributed to. Depending on the size of the donation and collaboration, this may include thank-you letters, diplomas, project information, pictures, and results from the implementation. For larger partnerships, reporting and follow-up can be specifically agreed upon. The feedback should be concrete and based on the actual impact created.

Yes. Since 2026, legal entities that pay state income tax can receive a tax reduction for monetary donations to approved gift recipients. The Solvatten Fundraising Foundation is approved by the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket). The tax reduction corresponds to 20.6 percent of an approved donation amount of at least SEK 2,000, up to a total basis of SEK 800,000 per calendar year. The company must have sufficient tax to offset the reduction against.

A corporate donation is a simple way to support the Solvatten Fundraising Foundation’s social and environmental work. A corporate donation contributes to concrete societal benefit but does not automatically assign a specific amount of verified emission reductions. Companies that need to report climate benefits in tons of carbon dioxide equivalents should instead choose Solvatten’s certified climate action program.
